Bio
Wine Brain is a flexible, nimble resource to support the wine brands’ growth, with hybrid skill set is supported by a network including sommeliers, trade specialists, designers, tech consultants, video/photographers.
I have more than 15 years+ in wine marketing, communications, the digital space, PR and events with key engagements with small, family-owned operations, to major national and international clients.
I’ve driven successful national PR campaigns with a multi-channel communications strategy (digital marketing, consumer, sponsorship and media relations) for major events, products and organisations. I've written for different channels/audiences including digital and social media, traditional collateral, advertising creative and video production.
In both agency and freelance context, I've worked with major wine and food brands and organisations including Royal Melbourne Wine Show, Melbourne Food & Wine Festival, Woolworths, King Island Dairy, Dan Murphy’s and Wine Tasmania.
But, my heart is in the artisanal wine space. In my most recent day job, I built recognition for an emerging Yarra Valley producer: refining the brand story, executing a wine show/awards program (gold medals at Royal Adelaide Wine Show and Six Nations Wine Challenge), implementing an export program, developing sponsorship programs (Truffle Melbourne and Make-A-Wish); creating compelling events and sommelier familiarisation and by leveraging collaborations and partnerships to increase its customer database by 450%.
Wine Brain brings together my crossbreed expertise. Wine Brain is about creative, engaging strategy and tactical campaigns, building long term relationships with core clients, leveraging my broad network and developing rich collaborations for small and medium sized wineries.

Background:
--Cellar Door Sales & Marketing
--Victoria & Tasmania Territory Manager
--Business Development Manager
Worked with:
McWilliams Wines, Michaels Group, Le Max Group, Edgemill Group, Australian Alternative Varieties Wine Show, Sunraysia Cellar Door and more.
Bio
Louisa Bell joined Wine Brain in January 2019 as Business Development Manager and brings a wealth of experience in wine sales, creative and events industries. She has a proven track record of going above and beyond to create lasting business relationships. I am excited to have her as the new face of the practice.
Louisa grew up in Mildura in a wine family, cutting her teeth in the industry in Sunraysia, conducting tastings for the general public, wine education, stock and social media management.
She caught the sales bug as a Territory Manager at the Edgemill Group, a family-owned wholesale wine and spirit business, building relationships with both on premise and off premise accounts across eastern Victoria and Tasmania.
Louisa was headhunted by one of Australia’s First Families of Wine, McWilliams Wines, stepping up to Business Development Manager representing McWilliams, Champagne Taittinger, Evans & Tate and Mount Pleasant. She worked with accounts across Victoria and Tasmania and built relationships by deep diving into her customers’ individual business requirements.
Crucially for Wine Brain, Louisa also has a strong knowledge of best practice marketing, communications and design principles, and completed both Bachelor of Design and Certificate IV Marketing & Communication.
Each year, Louisa volunteers as a Steward at the Australian Alternative Varieties Wine Show, arranging entries, pouring for the Chief of Judges and panel of judges and choosing the Stewards Awards.
